We have it in our power to change the world again. But only if we're true to our ideals and that starts by telling the truth to the American people. That is my first pledge to you tonight. As President, I will restore trust and credibility to the White House. - John Kerry, Speech to the Democratic National Convention

Kerry's Dubious Economics
He says new jobs are paying $9,000 less than the old ones. That's not a fact. - Factcheck.org

"That's not a fact"...sounds like..."it's a lie".

I don't claim that Bush never lied, but Kerry's using Bush's own words from the 2000 campaign. The next thing you now he'll be saying he's a "uniter, not a divider".

This is our time to reject the kind of politics calculated to divide race from race, group from group, region from region. Maybe some just see us divided into red states and blue states, but I see us as one America red, white, and blue. - John Kerry, Speech to the Democratic National Convention
