I cannot understand how Palestinians (including soon-to-be-President Abbas) support Hamas when their meager attempts to inflict damage on Israelis almost always results in more death and destruction for their own people.

8 Palestinians killed by tank fire; rockets land in Sderot

Eight Palestinians were killed Tuesday morning after the IDF fired a tank shell toward a group of Palestinians responsible for firing mortar shells at the Erez industrial zone several hours earlier.

Palestinian medical sources reported that six people were wounded in the attack. They also said that some of the dead where teenagers and among the wounded were a 15-year-old girl who suffered serious injuries, an 11-year-old boy, and three other children who worked in agriculture.

The IDF confirmed that at least four of the dead were members of Hamas and said it is not the first time that terrorists use children as shields when launching attacks.

As Golda Meir said - "We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children."
